About Balfour Louisville Campus

Often there are no clear lines separately independent living, assisted living, memory care or even skilled nursing, a cornerstone of The Balfour Way is offering a continuum of care. This allows our residents to age in place and maintain relationships with friends and staff through different levels of care without leaving their community..

Unlike many traditional CCRC’s (continuing care retirement communities) that require a large entrance fee, Balfour is entirely a rental community. This allows our residents to preserve their assets, paying only for the services and levels of additional care if and when they actually need them, and to leave a Balfour community if/when circumstances change without waiting for their funds to be returned. We know that we must earn the trust of our residents every single day.
