Bay Oaks Historic Retirement Residence is an open secret in senior living! - We are a designated Historic site by The City of Miami and a nonprofit community. Our building is tucked beneath sweeping oak trees in the heart of Miami. Since 1947, Bay Oaks has been a place where neighbors become friends, staff feel like extended family, and daily life unfolds with the ease and warmth of a true home.

Set on two acres of gardens and historic architecture, Bay Oaks offers a peaceful, old-Miami setting where residents gather on breezy porches, share meals in intimate dining rooms, and enjoy the simple pleasure of knowing the people around them. With space for just 32 residents, every face is familiar and every voice is recognized.

Our long-tenured care team is central to that sense of community. Their consistency, kindness, and presence create a foundation of trust that allows residents to feel safe, supported, and genuinely known. Care is personal, not rushed; conversations are unhurried; and relationships grow naturally over time.

All rooms are private and all-inclusive, with no entrance fees or long-term contracts. Residents enjoy chef-prepared meals, daily housekeeping, medication supervision, and a full calendar of cultural, social, and wellness activities.
