About Berman Commons

Established in 2015, Berman Commons is a kosher assisted living and memory care community conveniently located in Dunwoody, a suburb of Atlanta near Sandy Springs and North Buckhead, and adjacent to the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA). In 2017 we earned our certification as an I'm Still Here Center of Excellence.

We are one of only 25 senior care organizations in the country certified in the I'm Still Here approach to dementia care and engagement. We offer a compassionate solution for families with an elderly loved one who needs some level of assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, cooking or laundry to those needing maximum support due to Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. Our 24/7 nurses, on staff nurse practitioner and therapist, and specially trained care staff help residents stay active and engaged with purposeful, individualized activities, educational programs, fun and unique outings.

Our secure memory care, Ackerman Traditions, is uniquely located on our top floor, with dedicated nurses and activities staff, wide open spaces, private dining room, and a showstopping secure outdoor porch to view the ball games and the other inter-generational activities at the community center next door.

Monthly rent includes all utilities, delicious meals.
