Brookstone Estates was founded in 1996 to fill the need for quality senior care in rural Southern Illinois towns. This 46-unit community and others around the state were opened to provide seniors with the care they needed without hours of travel to metropolitan areas. Vandalia is located a short drive from St. Louis and features a variety of restaurants, shopping, and historic downtown.
Community Amenities and Services
Staff provides residents with a variety of personalized care services including diabetic care, incontinence care, and ambulatory care. Palliative care is also available on-site for residents who may have increasing care needs during their time in this community. Residents receive three chef-inspired meals per day in the restaurant-style dining room. Dietary accommodations can be made as needed to help ensure all residents are meeting their nutritional needs.
In between meals, residents are encouraged to take advantage of the indoor and outdoor common spaces as well as the planned activities and events. Learn a new card game, move your body, celebrate holidays and make new friends along the way.
