Within driving distance is Appleton’s downtown area filled with an array of different types of food and museums. Travel further south to the shores of Lake Winnebago.
A variety of activities encourage socialization, including arts and crafts, concerts, community outings, and walks, among others. Gather around for a game of bingo or cards. Or, get a visit from a furry friend in pet therapy. Reminisce on the small fenced-in patio area where a beautiful raised garden beds blooms. Natural light and chandelier lighting illuminates the charming common area. Between resident choice meal planning and menus being dietician-prepared, seniors can meet their nutritional needs and taste preferences. Meals are home cooked and served three times a day with healthy snacks in between meals.
The accessible community assists seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Respite care is also available. With a 20-bed capacity, seniors have a choice between private or shared suites. Therapeutic care is provided by round-the-clock specialized caregivers.
