At Lakeview Senior Living in Lakewood, residents can choose the size of apartment that best suits their needs, from a 473-square foot studio apartment , or two different plans for one bedroom/one bath apartments, or two sizes of two bedroom two bath apartments, the largest at 1,224 square feet. Cable TV and all utilities except phone are included.
Lakeview apartments are for independent living, but also offer services if your loved ones eventually need some help for a brief time as they recuperate from an illness, or permanently as their abilities decline. Lakeview calls these services Enhanced Living, rather than Assisted Living, and they include reminders, errands, meals, doing household chores for your loved one and individualized care. The care is determined via a Medicare assessment and is home health care certified by Medicare. In-home physical, occupational and speech therapy, which is also all Medicare certified, and monthly health screenings and blood pressure checks.
Even if your loved one isn't quite ready to move into Lakeview, you can bring them for Respite Stays, which are short-term stays while they recuperate from an illness or while you and your spouse take a much-needed vacation.
