About New Horizons At Choate
New Horizons at Choate is a private, not-for-profit, non-denominational independent and assisted living retirement community located on the historic site of the former Charles Choate Memorial Hospital, in a lovely residential neighborhood near Horn Pond in Woburn. Beautiful, private accommodations, utilities, three dining room meals daily, light housekeeping, substantial activities program, group transportation, and the nicest of caring environments are all included in one monthly fee. In addition, the attached Choate Medical Center offers a wealth of health care services for residents, without ever having to leave the building!
Due to generous ongoing subsidies from Cummings Foundation, our fees are among the lowest in New England, yet our community is among the very best. Enjoy lobster tail, filet mignon, beef wellington, shrimp scampi, lamb chops, and more as regular items on our sumptuous menu!
