Stanford Lodge of Gladwin is located in a quiet, country setting in the heart of Gladwin County's peaceful Amish community. We provide professional care in a relaxed, homelike environment. Due to our small group size, our residents are just like family. We specialize in a variety of needs: physically handicapped, developmentally disabled, physically disabled, mentally ill, dementia and Alzheimer's, elderly, terminally ill, and end of life care. Our monthly rate includes a private bedroom, 24/7 supervision, and complete assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting. We provide three home cooked meals a day, plus snacks. Laundry and housekeeping is also included. Our visiting physician is routinely here to check on residents, including visiting laboratory and x-rays. We obtain and dispense all medications. Our home has daily activities, story time, arts and crafts, music, and movies--along with exercise and outdoor time. We also have visiting church and singing for spiritual encouragement.
